Pheonix Guild Member Rules and Guidelines

Unread postby Serancha » 01 Jan 2014, 11:27 am

General guild rules

1) English only in guild chat.

2) No abusive, political, or religious chat in guild chat, and bullying is an instant removal from guild.

3) Begging is not allowed.

This means no asking for loans, gold, gear, pets or free items of any kind. Indirect / pity begging is included in this. Letting everyone know you need money in hopes someone will offer is still begging.

To clarify and reinforce the no begging rule, we are also writing in what everyone has always known without having to be told before this. No giving or loaning gold or items to other guild members. No "take it now and pay me later" scenarios, and no playing along with the indirect / pity scenario introduced in the begging outline above.

4) If the officer team receives 3 complaints about anyone, that person is removed.

5) Do not send unsolicited party invites to other members. Ask in guild chat for party members.

6) Entry Standards: Must meet the following Minimum stat requirements:

Minimum stat requirements:

January 1, 2015. New guild requirements. All can be reached with legendary armour/helm and weapon. Mages and rogues need to have blood ruby at least, but it is possible to make these numbers without one. However, it is cheap enough now to be a reasonable expectation and is really needed for elite survival.

Warrior
6400 health
1900 armour
350 damage / 400 with damage % pet on

For those using sword/shield:
300 damage / 330 with damage % pet on

Mage
3300 health (should be 3500+ with Malison)
1020 armour (Should be closer to 1200 if using legendary gear)
450 damage / 515 with damage % pet on

Rogue
3300 health (should be 3500+ with Malison)
1350 armour (this should be 1450-1550 for legendary geared rogues)
415 damage / 460 with damage % pet on

50K PvE kills required for all members.

Must be using proper pets - malison or better. If they can't afford at least a Malison, that means they also can't afford ankhs, so not much good.

Re: KDR
If they have 40K kills and 4000 deaths, or something of the sort, please do not recruit. Our guild average Kill/Death for PvE is 50:1, so try to keep that in mind. We also don't want pvp kill farmer dummies, so anyone with more than 3x the deaths as kills (if over 100 of either) should not be brought in.

7) Players must be self-sufficient: able to play the game and manage their own characters without daily help. Excessive requests for help will result in removal, as this guild is a place for people to socialize and find other quality players to hunt with, not a help service here to play the game for you.

8 ) Selling items on guild chat is allowed, provided a discount is given from the lowest current trading post price, and that the sales offer is not spammed. Scamming will get you booted and reported to the leaders of the major guilds in game.

9) Guild hoppers are not welcome. We are building a solid team here, and that means members we can trust to grow with our family over time. No in-and-out privileges unless arranged with an officer for getting the Guild Charter AP.

10) Leeching is never permitted. If you ask for help, you must participate, not stand and watch the person kill the monsters for you. This will be immediate removal.

11) Stalking is forbidden. This is defined as following anyone around the game when not expressly invited to hunt with them in a party, showing up repeatedly in all their pvp matches, etc. Respect for each other's privacy and space is important, and will be enforced if necessary.

Note regarding PvP: Pheonix does not restrict members' activities in the pvp arena. This means if you are on a team and another member is on the other team, you should both expect to be fighting. If you have a personal problem with fighting guildmates, you are free to find another match, but it is Player vs Player - the players on opposing teams are to fight and kill each other. That is the game. However, ganging up on a solo guildmate is not cool - this is just common sense, which we trust all our members to use.

After much discussion and seeing other guilds who refuse to fight each other, the leadership team of Pheonix has agreed that these kinds of "no fighting guildmates" policies go against what that part of the game is intended to be, and we don't want to do that here. If you cannot handle being killed by other players, that is what PvE is for, so there is always the option to stay out of pvp completely.

Regarding promotion: The officer / GM team is well aware of the members and their activity. We do not need to be informed by PM of every action taken. We also do not need to be loitered around constantly to remember people exist. If a member is active and contributing to the guild, earning AP's and running hunts, be assured we will be aware of it. When we believe someone has the right qualities, and we need more help with recruiting, we contact them at that time. Anyone who wishes to be considered, must start by meeting guild standards and making a forum account. Thank you.

This is Pheonix, and we are rising to the top.

I have added this to our sts thread.

Recently we have had a few members joining who have formerly been in certain pvp guilds.

I would like to make it clear to everyone that Pheonix has absolutely no opinion about Karma OR Magnum or any associated guilds. We will not tolerate trash talking in our guild, about anyone or any guild. If you are joining Pheonix, you need to understand that we are neutral, drama free, and our guild chat is a positive environment. Leave your old attitudes at the door, and stop looking at guild names in pvp.

Also, we expect members to be self-reliant. Spamming "join" every 45 seconds only annoys people and stresses the other members out. We are helpful and if we are available we do join within reason. Asking for assistance occasionally is fine, but if you have to ask for backup every time you enter pvp, you need to learn some skills.

People who spam chat with help requests constantly (pvp or otherwise), or trash talk other guilds / other players will not be tolerated here. If this is you please find another guild and leave us out of it.

Thank you.
