Driving in Grenada – A Road Trip Around The Island

We’ve been pet sitting in Grenada for 2 months now and the time has flown by! We’ve shown you our temporary dream home, but we haven’t shown you around Grenada itself. So, last weekend we drove around the 34 x 19 km island and made a short video along the way to give you a good idea of what this island has to offer.

We stopped in the town of Grenville for a quick walk on the beach, then we followed the windy coastal road all the way to the far north where we checked out Leapers Hill. We then came back down on the western side of the island and drove through the colorful, funky capital of St.George’s before stopping at beautiful Grand Anse Beach for a picnic dinner and sunset. There are so many things to do in Grenada!

It was a great trip and the time we were back at our home in Petit Bacaye it was dark and we had been exploring Grenada for over 5 hours with our new dog, Spare. This island is filled with so many sights, walking paths and beaches. Stay tuned for more videos from this Caribbean paradise!
